Gary Taxali was one of 20 artists, fashion designers, furniture studios and graphic designers invited to reimagine a Blu Dot Real Good Chair for the opening-night fundraising auction at the Interior Design Show (IDS) Toronto 2013. Each one-of-a-kind chair was digitally reinvented by the participating creatives. The auction supported ONEXONE, a charitable foundation dedicated to improving water, healthcare, education, play, and hunger for children. Bidding started at $200 per chair. IDS 2013 was held January 24-27 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and drew over 5,500 guests to the opening VIP gala alone.
