Gary Taxali was a collaborating artist on "Letters to the Mayor/Developer: Toronto" at EDIT, Toronto's inaugural ten-day festival dedicated to design, innovation and technology (September 28 - October 8, 2017). Working with architecture firm Partisans, Taxali helped design the exhibition installation featuring a typologically new mayoral desk and architect's table that snaked around the former factory funnel room. One hundred architects were invited to write letters to Mayor John Tory or a developer shaping the city's future.
