Gary Taxali was selected by the Norman Rockwell Museum for the 2024 Unity Project, a get-out-the-vote poster campaign harnessing the power of illustration art. Taxali created two posters including "Curtain", alongside five other artists: Lisk Feng, Timothy Goodman, Monica Ahanonu, Edel Rodriguez, and Shar Tuiasoa. The campaign launched August 2024 ahead of the presidential election.
